Lana
Owner, Designer, Maker
Growing up Lana has always been creative, making clothes and furnishings, renovating and building. It was a natural extension to add metalworking to these skills. In 2013 Lana took her first silversmithing course at Arts University Bournemouth. This kindled enthusiasm to explore the many techniques and possibilities working as a metalsmith.
Lana loves the outdoors and finds inspiration from the sea to the mountains, exploring on foot, bike, paddleboard or snowboard, creating beautiful pieces influenced by her journey.
Lana uses a variety of metal smithing techniques, often incorporating semi-precious stones, to create clean, contemporary jewellery. It’s all about the process, where the silver and stones evolve into beautiful pieces of jewellery.
Many of her items are one offs, making the piece you choose exclusively for you. Lana is currently building a collection inspired by the mountains for some local outlets. She also enjoys working on bespoke commissions, tailoring designs to suit your brief.
Lana is in her happy place when surrounded by tools, filings, polishing dust and heat… It’s all about what happens in the metal and mist.
